Actors Repertory Theatre Presents
Escaping Anxiety
Devisded by Ricky Elliot, Victoria Sova, Colton Farnham, and Dana Powell
Directed by Strother Gaines
Congratulations! You have landed the highly competitive position of un-paid intern at B.O.D.Y corp. While we can’t offer you health insurance, or a living wage, as an Internal Affairs Intern you will receive hands on experience piloting a real (mostly) functioning human being. You will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned employees, as you assist with the daily operations of one of our most reliable and low maintenance models, Susan. Sure, Susan’s got a few things she’s working on but hey who hasn’t been filled with the sense of impending doom recently? I’m sure it’s nothing you can’t handle. Right? After all, you did state that you were a problem solver in your application. We look forward to working with you. As we always say here at B.O.D.Y. corp, we expect the most from our least valued staff members, and we know that you will exceed our expectations.
Escaping Anxiety is an immersive escape room experience designed with a licensed therapist to help teach tools for managing anxiety.

It’s the end of the world…maybe? There’s no way to confirm for three cast members trapped inside their attraction at the happiest place on earth. It’s a world of hopes, it’s a world of fears. It’s a small world, after all.

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.
