How to Get Here

NCDA is located in the heart of Georgetown, on Wisconsin Avenue between P and Q Street NW. NCDA occupies the basement floor of the Georgetown Lutheran Church.

To reach the entrance, walk briefly west on Volta Place NW (a small side street between P and Q Streets) and look for the large “National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts” sign behind a black, cast-iron fence on the right side of the sidewalk. Once you see the sign, follow the sidewalk until you reach the second staircase (it'll be on your right). The stairs lead down to a small outdoor courtyard and our front door.

NCDA is accessible by public transportation. There are three Metro stops within a 15 to 25 minute walk of our studio. (Even closer if you take Metrobus.) The closest stops are:

  • Dupont Circle on the Red Line
  • Farragut West on the Blue/Orange/Silver Lines
  • Rosslyn on the Blue/Orange Lines

The quickest combinations of Metrorail/Metrobus transit are the following:

  • Take the Metro to Union Station (Red Line), transfer to the Circulator headed to Georgetown, then disembark at Wisconsin and P Street NW
  • Take the Metro to Farragut West (Orange/Blue Line), transfer to the Circulator headed to Georgetown, then disembark a half-block at Wisconsin and P Street NW
  • Take the Metro to Dupont Circle (Red Line), transfer to the D2 bus headed to Georgetown, disembark at Wisconsin Avenue
  • Take the Metro to Rosslyn (Orange/Blue Line), transfer to the Circulator headed to Georgetown, and disembark at Wisconsin Avenue and M Street NW (walk N up Wisconsin Ave)

There is plenty of street parking to be found around NCDA, as well as various parking areas throughout the neighborhood.  We’ll see you when you get here!
